Math – Tougher Than You Think (But Then So Is Spelling)

First, the math.

My wife was watching a local TV station after a bad storm.  The reporter in the field showed the reporter at the station some of the big tree branches that had fallen.  The reporter at the station asked, “Can you give us an idea of the diameter of some of the larger branches?”  The reporter in the field looked confused and finally said, “I was never good at math.”  My guess is that the reporter at the station got in trouble for trying to seem so intellectual.

Spelleing?  Why did I say that spelling is tough?  Hmmmm…the first item in my category list is “Advice for Students/Parents”.  I won’t say what it used to be, although I will comment that, yes, I do know the difference between “advice” and “advise”.

"Yeah, right. Sure you do."

“Yeah, right. Sure you do.”
